Designed for aspiring groomers with little or no previous experience, this practical course gives you the opportunity to turn your passion for canine care into a professional skillset recognised across the industry.
Training takes place in fully equipped professional grooming salons alongside experienced grooming tutors helping you to build confidence with real dogs in a real salon environment from the very beginning. You will learn essential grooming techniques including bathing, drying, coat preparation, trimming, handling and salon health and safety, while also developing an understanding of breed characteristics, behaviour and professional practice.
We understand that starting a professional qualification can feel daunting, especially if you are returning to education or changing careers. That’s why our supportive teaching approach is focused on building confidence as well as competence. Many of our students begin the course unsure of their abilities and leave confident to begin work in the grooming industry.
